RPIgnite is one of RPI’s newest clubs on campus.
The organization was founded in the Spring of 2013 and made its first performance at Spring Fling of that year.
In November of 2013 the group was officially recognized by the Rensselaer Union.
At this point the group was only five members but finished off the Spring 2014 year
with six performances in six weeks.
In September 2014 the organization became a Union funded organization
and is now almost twenty members.
The group is working on growing and becoming the heartbeat of Rensselaer.
Our Mission:
The purpose of RPIgnite shall be to provide an environment in which students with a passion for percussion
can learn techniques or further develop their musical and performance skills
and to put on unique, entertaining shows for the community.
